BVB

BVB is a Producer from Mackay, a small town in Queensland, Australia where hip-hop doesn’t really strike a chord.

Without many musical options around him, BVB had to do two things: perfect his sound and perfect the game that is the internet.

His ability to make connections online has landed him placements with Lil Xan, $teven Cannon, and more, and led him to be the producer of DillanPonders’ record: The Boy Who Died.

BVB first sent Ponders a cold email with a beat attached, one of many he’s sent out in his career. A few months later, Ponders responded with a full song, “OUTSIDE”, a single that would be placed on Spotify’s Hip Hop Central playlist.

With the single’s success, Ponders demanded more beats, and BVB provided a tidal wave of tracks. The two worked nonstop, all hours of the day, not worried about the 14-hour time difference separating them.

The two quickly became close friends, despite never meeting each other, and put together The Boy Who Died, a project that showcases their common strengths as creatives.

As a result, BVB & DillanPonders have now become a force to be reckoned with, releasing over 50 tracks together in 2022 including multiple albums and singles, topping some of Spotify’s largest editorial playlists and securing hundreds of thousands monthly listeners.
